"it's like riding a bike, you never forget how"....
sunday was the first time in i'd say about 7 years since i've been on a bike! Calvin finally went to go pick up his replacement bike on sunday so i decided to see if i still knew how to ride one....*hesistant laugh* hehehe let's just say the guys had a good laugh and Calvin had to come save me from falling over when i pushed on the brakes. hey, my excuse is that i was in 3 inch heels, practically stilettos!!!! =) i'll try again soon, i was just a little rusty. i'll just have to make sure i have A LOT of space to manoever, so definetly staying away from the Canal! lol.

disappointment....
so after studying a week for this damn psyc exam i still do bad. not much to say about, cuz don't really feel like going through it again. let's just say i spent all of yesterday after my exam thinking about it. i've never been so anxious about an exam before, i didn't get any sleep the night before, i mean i was in bed by midnight but didn't really fall asleep till around 4-5am (3 hrs of sleep). oh well just glad that it's over, just gotta wait for the mark to come in and plan
now on how i'm gonna make it up on the final (worth65%).
Calvin and I both had a rough day with exams so we decided to take a break and actually go out! *shock* we went to watch "The Forgotten" and let me say that was the weirdest movie ever! i think it was SUPPOSED to be funny but everyone in the theatre just ended up LAUGHING! so i suggest that if you were planning to watch it, wait till dvd! but definetly watch it on dvd or something, just cuz it's such a good laugh! lol

the time has come...
The long awaited Psychology midterm has finally arrived. i've finally finished my studying; (after 1 whole week!) done each practice test 3 times and gone over my notes at least 3 times! i am sick of psychology! i can't wait to get this midterm over with and get on with my life and my other 4 subjects shish! don't know how well my mind will be working at 8:30 in the morning though EEK! oh well

Fall exam schedule was released the other day, and let me say i am NOT very impressed! i won't be going home till the 22nd! yes that's right 3 days before CHRISTMAS! AS IF!!! that's the very last day of exams. yes i suppose it's my turn to stay till the very end since i've gotten away with it for the past 2 years but still! I suppose i should be happy cuz my exams are really spaced out, plus i only have 3. First one is on the 13th then 17th then 22nd, so i've got lots of time in between to study for each one. I do thank God that i've never had exams back to back.
i've been thinking more and more of an opportunity when i can go back to Vancouver, hopefully my sister comes to TO for Christmas, i'd love to be there for Charisse's first Christmas. Maybe i'll make a trip out in the beginning of summer, i'll aim for then. By then all the girls will be 19 *winkwink* hehe.
no more weekend
well the weekend is over....noooooo! i've been trying to study for my psychology midterm on friday all weekend and let me tell, it ain't goin so great! i've downshifted back into 1st gear, but hopefully today i'll add a little more gas, increase the rpm's and shift back into 2nd (don't you love my cheesy car talk? lol)
the other day Calazula, bought me a model kit for the Ducati998, the box was soo pretty and the bike looks really cool. so i decided to build it yesterday, thinking "meh, this should be easy, prolly take me 30mins or something." yeah right! the instructions were absolutely terrible! i'll try to take a pic and post it up. i couldn't understand what the heck it was showing me, there were no written instructions, just pictures! instead it took me over an hour to build! but it looks so cool! He also bought a bicycle, which got shipped to his residence yesterday (after waiting nearly a month!) it was a surprise for me so that it would be easier for him to come visit me, so he wouldn't have to walk with all his stuff for 40mins! yaaay! ph yeah but he has to wait, cuz the bike came with a huge dent it! stupid Sportmart!
next on the list: my mommy is in VANCOUVER!!! boooooooo i'm soo jealous cuz she gets to see baby (charisse)! my mom called me the other day to let me hear charisse laugh over the phone, it was so cute! i wish i could just skip school and go back to Vancouver for a week or something! I MISS HER SOO MUCH! =( she's gonna grow up without her favourite Auntie!
the weekend has finally arrived!
*exhale* it's FINALLY saturday! woohoo! went out yesterday with Kriss and Calazula for drinks at Blue Cactus, i love that place! had my usual Banana Bailey's Colada! Man that stuff is soo good, totally hit the spot! The night would have been nicer if it wasn't raining, i HATE rain! no, i seriously hate rain, it just makes me wanna stay at home. i thikn the worse part of the night was the end when we were on the bus heading back home and some guy was sick from drinking too much and PUKED! ughhh it was soo nasty and it smelled terrible and it wasn't just a little! i've never actually seen someone puke, i mean i've been in the bathroom with ppl while they puked but that's about it. and let me tell you it's not something i plan on seeing ever again! YUCK!
I think my freaking out stage has kinda subsided, but i do need to start kicking it into 2nd gear (yes, yes i'm still only on 1st gear, hey i'm in denial still about it not being summer anymore!) if i plan on getting any of my assignments done.
i should prolly start studying, hope everyone's exams are going well!

back in Ottawa
So it's byebye Toronto, byebye long weekend and hello Ottawa and *shudder*school...yuck. had a great time back at home, got to see my family, spend some time with mommy and of course watch my bro TJ and his team win in b-ball. i'm just such a supportive sister what can i say lol. had a great Thanksgiving, altho my bro wanted to do something different so no turkey, which was good, gave my mom a break.
it was great seeing my girls; Hannah and Elaine, had a good game of pool hehe=) and of course it's always good times watching Elaine be drunk, hey it was her 21st birthday party. but i think the highlight was when a 34 year old tried to pick her up! haha honestly did he actually think that telling us his age would get him ANYWHERE?! and as if that wasn't bad enuff he had to tell us about his 4 year old son, who's apparently "a great kid, just a great kid" plus all about how he used to have a wife but not anymore, and blah blah blah!

home sweet home
I'M HOME! it's the Thanksgiving looong weekend so i'm back in TO. My uni is closed for University Day (whatever that is) so i got to come home last night. It's nice to be home and spend some time with my mom. prolly won't get the chance to see many friends, but thankfully i will get to meet up with 2 of my greatest friends Hannah and Elaine since Elaine will be having her b-day bash! of course i'll see to it that she's "tipsy" (is that the cool word nowadays lol)
Had a busy day running around doing errands: massage, haircut, groceries, shopping etc.
Oh yes i have a question i'd like to put out to all of you (if any lol) who come to this site:
So you're in a relationship. One night you get a phonecall from some friends asking you to meet up that night, would you:
a) go out, call your bf or gf let them know
b)go out, not call your bf or gf, after all you have no plans with them anyway
c)call bf or gf first, let them know and see how he or she feels about it

stupid car rentals!
so the past two weeks have been quite stressful/frustrating for me. first off: went to the bus station to buy my ticket to go homw for the thanksgiving weekend and i find out that in addition to the fares going up approx $40, they also decided to make MOnday the 8th a blackout date meaning that you can't travel on a discounted ticket that day, therefore no companion fare. so it would cost $95 to go home for both me and Calvin that's $190. since it would be cheaper to just rent a car for the weekend we decided to make some phonecalls, and after a very stressful weekend or sorting things out it ends up we can't rent a car DARN IT! i guess it's the bus once again. but i suppose now it'll be a lot easier to rent a car in the future since by then we'll have everything that's needed.
secondly: my phone has been acting up a lot lately. sometimes it just decides on its own that it doesn't want to make any phonecalls or accept any phonecalls. which is really bad because my cellphone is my mainline. so sometimes when ppl try to call me it just doens't go through, and when i try to call ppl it doens't go through either. and to make things even worse when i finally get to make a phonecall it cuts me off halfway through!!! grrrrrrr
and oh yeah thirdly: school. just the word alone is self explanatory, don't need to go into detail about how frustrating and stressful school is. we all know, we've all either been there or are there.
btw this doesn't mean i'm not happy=) cuz i am, i have Gilmore Girls episodes to keep me happy hehe. i love the power of downloading! hehe
